Forgiveness is the release of resentment or anger that one feels towards someone who has hurt or offended them. Forgiveness does not mean forgetting or reconciling with the offender. Forgiveness is a decision to let go of the negative feelings and move on with one's life.
I forgave her that time, when my emotions got the best of me, I still remember it. But I forgave her.
And now, I shall forgive this friend of mine, who has deeply hurt me.
I am just... emotionally exhausted.
I am letting go.
I forgive her.
It's time to let go of it.
There's nothing to be done aside from forgiving.
